The city lights design competion for leds was recently won by OVI. The OVI led design combines hi-flux led technology with great optics to create great framework for led modules. the design is very suitable for led streetlights, and it can handle new generations of led products. The great use of this led technology will increase the number of led usage in cicites, and will generally lead to replacemnt of sodium vapour lampsmin streetlights with led lamps which are more eco frindly. This will also cut the energy consumtion by about 25 percent which, in the longer run will outbox the inital led installtion costs.
