Transparent white OLED have been developed by osram. There transparent white OLED have achieved an efficiency of more than 20lm/w and a brightness of 1000 cd/m2. The transparency of there transparent white OLED is about 55% and the transparency will further rise to about 75%. The construction of there transparent white OLED has opened up many possibilities in the led world for example this will allow construction of such applications which will be almost invisible by day and provide a diffused light at night. The step taken by osram for development of these transparent white OLED is really good and in the long run it will help the OLED industry to go up higher.
