Philips luminoids the giant led company had to stop production of leds because of a bad epoxy batch which was unfit and contaminated for led use. The led devices manufactured between OCT 28 and JAN 12 were found to be contaminated and they were replaced.

The faulty leds production has affected luminoids leds but the false epoxy has been replaced with new supplier and the production at Philips lumileds has started to reach back to normal status.
