At railways the LED warning lights are used at signals. The railways traffic signals use LED warning lights. They are three colored – red yellow and green. The railway LED warning signals ensure the smooth flow of trains. Now- a-days the railways coaches and engines have also started to use LED warning lights as back lights. These are always red.



The leds are also being used in coaches these days. Since the cost of an led lamp is lesse than that of an incascedent lamp or even a flourscent lamp, so the led lamps are being used in coaches. Morover the led lamps used in coaches have lesser heat disaapation, and their soothing lights are very good for the interriors of railway coaches. Major projects are being taken by various raiways to replace their conventional lighting with LEd lamps
