DOE of us has completed round 4 of product testing, the goal of which is to analyze commercially available solid- state lighting replacement lamps and other led fixtures. It is saddening to note that none of the led products were able to pass the energy star regulations. It is a very common knowledge that manufactures of all led products exaggerate their claims so it is paramount that led products be tested for their efficiency and their worth fullness. Moreover the led companies that exaggerate these claims must be brought to notice and their led license be abolished.
